Four ISIS Terrorists Arrested in Pakistan’s Punjab Province

Pakistani police have arrested four alleged ISIS terrorists in the Punjab province, as reported by the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Saturday. The arrests were made during raids in Lahore, Toba Tek Singh, Bahawalpur, and Mianwali, following a tip-off.

The suspects, identified as Amjadur Rehman, Sher Ali, Zahabullah, and Tayyab Raees, were found with 2,570 grams of explosives, three detonators, 18.7 feet of safety fuse wire, a Kalashnikov rifle, four hand grenades, and banned ISIS literature.

The CTD stated that these terrorists were planning to target important installations and high-profile individuals. The operation was part of a larger effort, as CTD Punjab conducted 980 combing operations this week, screening over 32,662 individuals and arresting 109 suspects.
