297 officers joined the Indian Army

On Saturday, a ceremony was held at the Officer Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai, where 258 male cadet officers and 39 female cadet officers were inducted into various units and services of the Indian Army. The ‘Passing Out Parade’ at the Permeshwaran Drill Square was reviewed by Lieutenant General N.S. Raj Subramani, the Deputy Chief of Army Staff.

The OTA also reported that ten cadet officers from friendly foreign countries and five female cadet officers from those countries successfully completed their training. The successful training of these international cadets fosters goodwill and cooperation across international borders.

The cadet officers were part of the 118th Short Service Commission (SSC) course and the 32nd SSC (Women) course, along with other equivalent programs. In his address, the Deputy Chief of Army Staff praised the cadet officers and OTA personnel for their exemplary achievements.
