September 21: Quad Summit in Wilmington, Delaware PM Modi will participate in the 4th Quad Summit alongside US President Joe Biden, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese, and Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida. The summit will address regional security in the Indo-Pacific, cooperation on technology, climate change, and strategies for ensuring a free and open region. The gathering marks the final meeting for some leaders in the group before they leave office.
India will host the next Quad Summit in 2025, following a request from the US to hold the 2024 summit in Delaware due to scheduling conflicts.
September 22: Indian Diaspora Event & Economic Talks in New York On September 22, PM Modi will address an Indian community event titled “Modi & US Progress Together” at Nassau Veterans Memorial Coliseum, New York. The event has garnered significant attention, with more than 24,000 attendees expected, emphasizing the strong India-US cultural ties.
Additionally, PM Modi will hold discussions with CEOs of top US-based companies to strengthen collaboration in key sectors such as artificial intelligence, quantum computing, semiconductors, and biotechnology. September 23: UN “Summit of the Future” PM Modi’s visit will culminate with his participation in the UN’s Summit of the Future, where he will deliver a keynote address focusing on sustainable development, digital transformation, and multilateral cooperation. The summit, with the theme “Multilateral Solutions for a Better Tomorrow,” seeks to establish new international agreements to address global challenges. The Quad summit and Modi’s participation in the Summit of the Future emphasize India’s growing role on the global stage.
