Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu Resurrects Controversy with New Jab at Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Union Minister Ravneet Singh Bittu has reignited political tensions with a new derogatory remark aimed at Congress leader Rahul Gandhi. This follows a recent letter from Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, criticizing derogatory comments made by BJP members about Gandhi.

In an interview with ANI, Bittu dismissed Gandhi with the term “Pappu,” a Hindi slang meaning foolish or childish. “They (Congress) made him (Gandhi) the Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, but he remains a ‘Pappu’. Instead of lecturing others, Mallikarjun Kharge should focus on educating his ‘Pappu’,” Bittu remarked.

This comment is a continuation of Bittu’s earlier controversial statements, including his description of Gandhi as the “number one terrorist,” which had already sparked significant backlash. The latest remarks have further fueled the ongoing political discourse and are likely to keep the debate between the BJP and Congress alive in the run-up to the elections.
