SSC GD CONSTABLE 2025 NOTIFICATION RELEASED
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released the notification for GD Constable positions, ending the wait for millions of candidates. Number of Vacancies:
Before the notice was released, it was speculated that there might be between 40,000 to 45,000 vacancies. However, this time, SSC GD’s recruitment drive will fill a total of 39,481 positions.
Important Dates:
Applications began on September 5, and the last date to apply is October 14, 2024. The deadline for online fee payment is October 15, 2024. The correction window for the application form will open on November 5, 2024, and close on November 7, 2024. The computer-based exam is expected to start in January 2025 and continue until February 2025. Exact exam dates will be announced on the SSC website.
Eligibility and Selection:
Candidates who have passed the 10th grade from a recognized board can apply. Those currently appearing for the exam this year are not eligible. The age limit is 18 to 23 years. The selection process includes a written exam, physical fitness test, and medical examination. Candidates must clear each stage to proceed to the next.
Departmental Vacancies:
The notice will provide detailed information on the number of posts available in each force, including how many are for women and men. Notably, the highest number of positions is with BSF (15,654), followed by CRPF (11,541).
