AAP Leader Tarlochan Singh Shot Dead in Khanna Village

Tarlochan Singh DC, a leader of the Aam Aadmi Party’s Kisan Wing in Khanna, was shot dead by unidentified assailants in Ikolaha village on Monday evening. The 56-year-old leader was returning from his farm when the incident occurred. His son, Harpreet Singh Happy, and other villagers rushed him to the civil hospital, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

Tarlochan Singh had recently joined the AAP and was actively involved in the party’s Kisan Wing in Khanna. Sources indicate that he might have been preparing to contest the village sarpanch election again, having previously lost in his bid for the position. The police have suggested that the motive behind the murder could be related to political rivalry, although no specific suspects have been identified yet.

Harpreet Singh stated that they had no prior issues or enemies, and thus had no immediate suspects. However, the police are investigating the case further to determine if it was indeed politically motivated.

In the wake of this incident, the local community and the AAP are mourning the loss of a committed leader, while authorities continue their investigation into the murder.
